Do I need a new phone number?
No. Use your existing WhatsApp Business number; you connect it to chatji with Facebook login in a few minutes. You can keep replying from the WhatsApp Business app on your phone too.
Is this the official WhatsApp?
Yes. Chatji is built on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API), the approved way for businesses to automate WhatsApp, not an unofficial workaround.
Which languages does the AI speak?
Whatever your customer writes in: English, Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil, Malayalam, Arabic and many more, in the same script, switching when they do. It answers only from what you teach it, keeps your prices exactly as written, and hands over when it isn't sure.
My business isn't a stay, shop or clinic. Can I use it?
Yes. Choose “Any other business” when you sign up. The AI agent, inbox, chat links, broadcasts, payment links, a simple shop and automations work for any business; the booking tools are there when you need them.
How do customers pay?
Through your own Razorpay or Stripe account (payments confirm themselves), or straight to your UPI ID with no gateway and no fees, where you confirm each payment. chatji never holds your money.
Do I need a website?
No. Homestays get a booking form inside WhatsApp, sellers get a shop page made for WhatsApp, and clinics get free times and an appointment form in the chat.
What does WhatsApp itself cost?
Meta charges separately for template messages (like reminders and offers) under its own pricing. Replies to customers within 24 hours of their message are free from Meta.
Can I use chatji outside India?
Yes. It works with WhatsApp numbers anywhere, in your own currency (dollars, dirhams, euros, pounds and more), with Stripe for customer payments. Outside India, plans are billed by card in US dollars.
